A great morning to fish. The fog is mostly gone and the fishing should be good on the Mullica River. A good amount of perch was caught yesterday near Wading River bridge according to a couple of locals. A fresh batch of bloodworms just arrived and fresh clams will be in by the middle of the week. March 15th is almost here and that means competition time. Start to bring in your perch and see what you might win by the end of the contest. Have a nice catch to all.

What a day to get out of the woodworks and do some fishing. All of the local spots greenbank, lowerbank, and even down river is producing some action. A decent amount of striped bass being reported. We have had alot of fun over the years weighing in some of the biggest perch in the area. Anywhere from 1lb to 2 lb 6 oz. Now that is some big perch. A local fisherman Terry has won our contest for the last 5 years and counting. This year it might be you. Here are a couple of people weighing in perch from years past for this competition alone. Good Saturday morning. It should be a decent day to do some fishing. Overcast with a bit of sunshine to report. Still only 1 weigh in for our Striped Bass contest. A reminder it lasts all weekend until we close on Sunday evening. The winner will be announced Monday and awarded a 125$ Gift Certificate to our shop. There have been some perch reports in green bank. The guys are using frozen grasshrimp or bloodworms. Heading out in a few to try and get some fresh grasshrimp. The 1st striped bass weigh in this morning was caught by Boau Bosley. It measured at 35 1/2 inches and weighed 14 lbs 7 oz. What a way to start a day. He won our 1st weigh in of the day prize, a 7ft 2pc Shakespeare Rod and Reel Combo. Our Striped Bass contest for the largest fish is running all weekend long. Stop by in hopes of winning our Grand Prize, a 125$ Gift Certificate. The contest ends on Sunday evening when we close shop.
