Wednesday, May 16th, 2012Still alot of perch and striped bassĀ about in the Mullica River, perch biting on bloodworms, grasshrimp and minnow. The striped bass are taking bloodworms, clam and atlantic herring. The back bays are heating up. The flounder are starting to be caught in numbers. Squid, spearing, minnow, mackeral and the berkley gulp shrimp. Alot of reports along the shore. Striped bass in the 30 lb range in some areas. Check out our facebook page to see other local catches…. Monday, May 14th, 2012Stricter eel rules possible–In Sundays region of the press newspaper may 13th an article by Richard Degener- a report by the Alantic States Marine Commision says that the eel stocks are depleted based on historic levels,nothing specific is proposed yet,but could this lead to a ban in useing eels for bait??.If you get time please check this article out.

Saturday, May 12th, 2012Terry seems to know what he is doing when it comes to fishing for striped bass. He caught nine keeper size bass released seven of them and kept two. They measured at 29 in and 31 in respectivly weighing 9 lb 2 oz and 10 lb 5 oz. All caught within 20 minutes. He also caught 35 perch, all take home size. Come on in and weigh your fish here and get entered into the Press Of Atlantic City Fishing Competition.
