The Striped Bass and Perch Report
Saturday, March 23rd, 2013Over the last week people have been going insane including us here at Captain Howards’ because the weather has been awful. Hopefully after Monday’s storm that will be the last of what winter has brought us this year. Over the last couple of days though people have been more eager to get the cob webs off their fishing rods and take a few casts along the river. Some reports of Striped Bass at the usual spots of Hay Rd and Lower Bank Bridge. We weighed in our first perch for the contest a couple days ago. It was 1lb 3 oz. A decent start to what is an exciting time of year at Captain Howards’. Feel free to get any of your fish weighed in all year long. Have a nice catch to all.
