The winter fishing has started. Plenty of snapper bluefish as well as perch in the Egg Harbor River and Striped Bass action in the Mullica River. bloodworms and fresh clam bait of choice for the striped bass and grasshrimp, minnows, and nightcrawlers for the perch. Catching fish as the days seem to be getting a little cooler. Frank Gibbens of Egg Harbor City caught a 1 lb 6 oz white perch in the Mullica river this afternoon. He was using minnow. Come in and enter our perch contest at the door.
